Red Magazine

Challenge

The designer needed to create a magazine that showcased their grid layout, graphic management, and technical skills.
 

Solution

I chose to create a magazine what was more art than function. I wanted to show off my ability to use photoshop to create fluid works of art that conveyed emotion more than just paragraphs of evenly lined text.
 

Results

The design was well received by the design community and my peers.
 

Robert's Thoughts

The design resulted in several freelance photo montage and graphic design opportunities within the Portland Metro Area. I also won the best upcoming graphic designer award and my work was showcased in the March 1996 issue of Tracks.
