Challenge

The client required that I build tool to capture user submissions to an event. The tools had to be built in one day and us existing technologies and infrastructure.
 

Solution

The solution involved integrating a 3rd party flash interface and building from scratch a php tool to email and save submissions to a date-stamped csv file.
 

Robert's Thoughts

This was a short and sweet project, I hadn't used php for some time and getting back into the swing of things with the language was fun. Much of my time was spent trying to figure out the configuration of the linux server and php application space. Because debugging was disabled (something that is usually the case in co-located environments) I had to debug without system feedback.
